How does kluo work?

Kluo uses UVC at the wavelength of 260-280 nm which is known to damage the nucleic acids of microorganisms, stopping the cloning process and preventing them from multiplying.
 
UVC is invisible to human eyes, therefore kluo also included UVA, which is visible light that will help indicate when kluo is working.

What is UVC?

UV ranges between 100-400 nm and is divided into three bands:
UVA (315-400 nm)
UVB (280-315 nm)
UVC (100-280 nm)

UVC at 200-280nm is the known germicidal range whereas UVA and UVB are widely used in tanning beds.

Our UV LED lamp beads last 10,000 hours, that's 600,000 minutes. So if you use it twice a day (6 mins a day), that's 100,000 days or 274 years of keeping your toothbrush clean & fresh!
